Risa begins work this week on the short film TRY A LITTLE HARDER, written and directed by Antonia Grilikhes-Lasky. The film is a dark comedy about the messy line between art and life, and Risa plays Wendy, the quirky successful girlfriend of a self-doubting sculptor.

10.01.10 This week begins OCTOBERFEST at Ensemble Studio Theatre, and Risa will be reading the part of Rebecca Sue in a new play by Roger Hedden called "As Sure as You Live", directed by Billy Hopkins.

4.04.09 Carlos Dengler's film MY FRIENDS TOLD ME ABOUT YOU, in which Risa plays the leading role of Belle, will premiere with Anonymous Gallery in New York City as a video installation from April 17th through May 5th. The film is also a main feature in Wholphin Volume 8, due in the Spring of 2009. Wholphin is a quarterly DVD magazine of short films published by McSweeney's.
