7.26.10 Risa and Andrew Zox will remount their play SERIOUS HAMMERING for the Potomac Theater Projects After Dark Series, at the Atlantic Theater Stage 2 on Monday July 26 at 10:15 pm.
7.12.10 For one night only, Risa will play an assortment of inanimate objects in a staged reading of James Ryan Caldwell's BABYFAT, OR SKINNYBABY, presented as part of the 2010 HOT Festival at Dixon Place.

2.11.10 The play SERIOUS HAMMERING, which Risa co-wrote with Andrew Zox, has been accepted into the Network One-Act Festival.  Risa and Andrew will be performing it at The Barrows Group Theatre in March, in competition with 39 other short plays by up and coming playwrights .

1.02.10 Risa is beginning rehearsals with 31DOWN for the premiere of their new work RED OVER RED, directed by Shannon Sindelar with sound by Ryan Holsopple and Tim Cramer. The production will also star DJ Mendel, Caitlin McDonough-Thayer and Mike Sharpie, and is being created with the support of free103point9 and the Ontological Incubator.

10.13.09 Later this month during Ensemble Studio Theatre's Octoberfest, Risa will play Eliza in a staged reading of Laura Maria Censabella's new play INTERVIEWING MISS DAVIS directed by Kel Haney, also featuring Delphi Harrington and Adria Vitlar.

7.30.09 Risa performs the role of Belinda at the Avram Theatre in Southampton in Ensemble Studio Theatre's staged reading of THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, written by Billy Aronson and directed by Robert Davenport.
7.21.09 Filming is completed on CLAIRE AND DANIEL, a short directed by Daniel Zox in which Risa plays a Socialite Environmentalist.
6.27.09 Risa plays Mel, a lost girl, in a staged reading of HOSPITAL CITY directed by Anthony Johnston, and co-starring Emily Axford and Stacy Jordan. A full production will be mounted in the fall.
5.08.09 Risa plays the part of a little girl in Tigermilk Collective’s reading of Miranda Huba’s new play GROUNDED: A PLAY IN SIX AIRPORTS.
4.04.09 Carlos Dengler's film MY FRIENDS TOLD ME ABOUT YOU, in which Risa plays the leading role of Belle, will premiere with Anonymous Gallery in New York City as a video installation from April 17th through May 5th. The film is also a main feature in Wholphin Volume 8, due in the Spring of 2009. Wholphin is a quarterly DVD magazine of short films published by McSweeney's.
2.18.09 Tigermilk Collective’s new short play by Miranda Huba, THE HISTORY OF MY DOMESTICATION, opens tonight at The Red Room. Risa plays a young former sex worker.
